Lifeline is inviting members of the public to register as event-day volunteers to support its presence at the upcoming Massy Distribution 5K Run. Walk. Play. event on Sunday, June 14, 2026.

While participant registration for the race is now closed, Lifeline is seeking dedicated individuals to assist on-site by supporting runners, enhancing visibility, and representing its mission with professionalism and care.

Why Your Support Matters

For Lifeline, this event is more than a race. It is an opportunity to stand with the community in support of mental health and suicide prevention. Since 1980, Lifeline has provided confidential and anonymous emotional support to those experiencing despair, loneliness, or personal crisis. By volunteering, you help us serve those who feel they have no one else to turn to.

Volunteer Responsibilities

Following registration, volunteers will be asked to attend a coordination meeting. On the day of the event, primary tasks include:

  • Encouraging and supporting runners along the route.
  • Assisting with Lifeline’s presence and public engagement.
  • Sharing information about Lifeline’s critical work and mission.
  • Representing the organization in a respectful and supportive manner.
Important Note: This call is for Lifeline event support volunteers only and is not a registration for participation in the Massy Distribution 5K race.
